KNOWN IN HAMILTON.

Mr. T. A. Mack, chief officer on the Komata, who wae killed when the ship was sunk by a raider, was formerly well known in Hamilton. His father, Mr. M. J. Mack, was a guard stationed at Frankton Junction for 15 years and during that time he was secretary of the Amalgamated Society ojf Railway Ser-, vants. He is now living in retirement in Auckland. Chief Officer Mack attended the Hamilton West School.
