SOFIA, Jan. 2.

Official Bulgarian sources state that "over 250,000 German soldiers are already in Rumania, and an equal number are in Hungary." They add that Bulgaria would be forced to consent if Germany demanded a free passage for her troops across Bulgaria. Other reliable sources put the number of Germans in Rumania as high as 500,000.
