ROME CLAIMS SUCCESS.
GREEK AND AFRICAN FRONTS. (Reed. 10 a.m.) - LONDON - , Dec. 25. A Rome communique states: "Our artillery on the Cyrenaica frontier battered enemy armoured units. We successfully bombed mechanised forces. Our fighters shot down two Hurricanes. One of our planes did not return. "We repulsed several attacks on the Greek frontier and captured some prisoners, machine-guns and rifles. We repulsed an enemy detachment on the Sudanese frontier." "Enemy planes over Xaples yesterday dropped leaflete and Molotoff breadbasket*."
