WELLINGTON DECISION

WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The application of the Wellington City Council to increuse tram fares was publicly heard by the Price Tribunal ami the decision referred to and approved' by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the lion. D. 0. Sullivan. An increase in Sunday fares of a penny a trip war* allowed, with a maximum of fid, giving additional revenue of £6000 * year towards meeting the increased «o»te, as against £17,000, the increase sought by the council.
