INFIRMARY PATIENTS VISITED

On Christmas Eve a visit was paid to the Infirmary at Epsom by Mr. Allan J. Moody, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, Dr. Hilda Northeroft, Mrs. M. M. Drcaver, Mr. W. K. Howitt and Mr. J. Sayegh, when every ward was visited and patients wished the compliments of the season. Mrs. Priestly, who will t»e 103 next birthday, was deiighted when the party β-pent some time at Jier bedside. She is still very alert and her memory fairly good. A visit was made to the kitchen. Mr. Moody congratulated the staff for the excellent provision that had been made Tor the festive season. The women e wards had been 'beautifully decorated with flowers.

Later the chairman and members visited the Alexandra Home.
