FRENCH LOSE HOMES. REGION BEING NAZIFIED. ; ( By Air.) LONDON, Nov. 5. . The Xazis are expelling masses of I Frenchmen in Alsace-Lorraine, while J Germans from the Saar and Prussia are i being sent to this part of occnpied I France to take the place of tbe exIpelled Frenchmen, a refugee in Genera, :-aid this week. He is a doctor from jLorraine, and described how the Gerjmans are *vstematical!y STazifving the I region. He told how some 1.5,000 inhabitants of Metz, Sarrebourg,* Chateau ISalins and Thiorvillc have been, forcibly | uprooted from their homes. They were given two hours to pack belongings weighing not more than 100 pounds. an< i then trans]>orted to Lyons. These men, vromen and children are Jiou-.ed in >ome exhibition buildings. They r-lcep on .traw and eat Army canteen !o.>d. Their money and property—most |of them are professional and business ■people—have been confiscated. ! Hitler's promise that native Alsatians •who evacuated their homes would be ■allowed to return is being ignored by jMiiulcitcr Buerchel, the local Nazi , "l>o-s." i In fact.
