A considerable delay in the burial of a patient who died at the Grey Hospital was explained at the monthly meeting of the hospital board. The incident had 'Wn the subject of startling rumours during the past month throughout the West Coast. The chairman, Mr. J. Mulcare, explained that a misunderstanding arose between the next of kin and the Returned Soldiere' Association as to which was to conduct the funeral. The funeral finally took place a week afrer the death.
