CLUBS AND SOCIETIES.

P. and T. Women.—The Fabian Club rooms were filled to capacity when the league held its children's Christmas party. Musical items and s<ings were rendered* by the children, and dancing by Miss Kattern's pupils was much appreciated. Afternoon tea was served bv the committee.

New Zealanders and Pioneers.—The Xew Zealanders and Descendants of Pioneers Club held a Christmas social in the Fabian rooms. The hostesses were; Mrs. Johnston, president, Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Howarth, Mrs. Kidd, Mrs. Addieson, Mrs. Hassitt and the Misses Johnston. The Misses Beresford supplied the music. Items were given 'by Misses Derrick, Pat and A. Hassitt. Mrs. Livingstone. Mr. M. De Silva (air force) and Mr. Williams. Mr. Kelly was master of ceremonies.
