DELIVERY AT SUITABLE TIME,

The following message has been received by the manager in Auckland of Cable and Wireleiw, Limited, from his head office, London:—"l wish to draw attention to the exceptional conditions affecting Christma* and New Year traffic this seaaoq. A large volume of traffic is anticipated. It would be in the interest* of users and public correspondence generally if telegrams were handed in early a<* possible before Christmas a nd the New Year. Greetings and social messages for places overseas, including messages to and from member# of His Majesty's Forces, may be handed in now and will be delivered as far as possible at a suitable time before the day to which thejf refer. "Messages for delivery by Christmas Day should be handed in by December 20 at the latest.
"In connection with the soldiers' cheap rate messages, it might be mentioned for your information that Cable and Wireless, Limited, were almost wholly responsible for the concession 'by way of free transmission of the address."
