OBJECTION, TO LETTER. MILK COUNCIL'S ACTION. Objection to tho tone of a letter scut b\- the joint executives of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Vendors' Association and the New* Zealand Oairv Vendors' Alliance was taken at a meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council this morning. The letter was in regard to a resolution ]>assed by the council in connection with the issue of a milk-shop license, and it was alleged that an unfair attitude had been taken up b v the council. ' he letter is a positive iiwilt to the council and its officers." said tile chairman, Mr. 1. J. < iold-tine. "and the proper way is to refuse to receive it until it is couched in courteous language." The council decided not to receive the letter.
