KAKARIKI MEAT WORKS.
Arrangements have been made by the Wellington Meat Export ing Company to lease their works at Kakariki for the duration of the war and one year at a nominal rental. In announcing this decision a' the annual meeting this ueek the chairman. Mr. D. Allan, said the works had been idle for some time and the Government was making alterations to provide for the emergency storage of dairv produce.
