WEATHER FORECAST. FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far sooth as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate northerly winds. Weather fair to cloudy, with mild to warm temperatures. Seas slight to moderate. The recent anti-cyclone Is centred east of the North Island, while a depression is located on the south Tasman Sea. HACRAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north-east. light; sea, smooth; weather, fine, cloudy and hazy; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
