Xewton East Mission Hall w«-s well attended for the closing meeting for the year of the mothers of the mission. Mrs. Douglas presided. The shaker for the evening was Mrs. Stinijwm. A musical i>roj.raiiwne, arranged by Mrs. MoKearney, featured many items by the mothers, and a recitation frrven by Mrs. T. Cla-rk. A re-port on the year's work was given by the secretary, Mi*. Be-t. lire. presented the prizes for attendance.
