ATTRACTIVE BALLETS.

DANCE RECITAL HELD. Pupils of Miss Cecil Hall were seen in attractive and colourful ballet scenes at the annual dance recital held in the Town Hall concert chamber. Careful training was evident in the work o both junior and senior dancers, and the expressiveness of ftiee and hands won the appreciation of the large audience. Among the most s|*ctacular scenes unfolded" in dancing and music were "Waves of the Sea.'' "Museum Moonstruck." a delightful "Harlequinade" by junior pupils, and a fantasy, 'fountain of Dreams." A novel and cleverly produced mime play, "Railway Station, proved very popular, and the Imal scene was "Village Fete," a colourful preI sentation danced in a variety ot costumes.
