CHRISTIAN SERVICE.
APPEAL TO BUSINESS MEN,
Addressing a large attendance at the Christian Business .Men's Association luncheon at .Milne and Choycc'e reception hall yesterday' on the subject of 'Tn the .Steps of the Master," Mr. W. Calder Mackay stressed the responsibilities of Christian inen to the community in which they lived. If they had got something that wae worth while they could not keep it to themselves if they were Christians, said Mr. Mackay. They had to show that it was worth while by following in the footsteps of Him "who went about doing good'. \\ ere they, he a.-ked, giving out to the community and accepting their Christian responsibilities to it* They had to be gi ve.rs-ont, lirst, in their own homes, second, in the oh 11 reh, third, in their jobs; and then it was not finished until they were givers-out in their community. In service to mankind they wera literally obeying Christ's second command, to '"love your neighbour as yourself.''
