FIREMAN BURNED.
EXPLOSION OF GASES. DUXEDIX, this day. While working a hose up a stairway at a fire which destroyed an attic, Mr. .Tames Fleming, a fireman, was burnt about the face and hands when an explosion of accumulated gases occurred. The explosion blew two sheets of iron from the roof and shattered the attic windows. Mr. Fleming was admitted to hospital and his condition is not serioue.—(Prese Aesn.)
