INSURANCES STRONGER. MT. LYELLS AND MORGANS UP. Auckland Gas shares were steadier to-day, following their recent easing, and insurance scrip wag higher than during the week. Other sections or the market were quiet. There was no improvement in turnover during the morning and only two eales were put through at- noon.
