HESITANCY OF SHARES. GOVERNMENT BTOCKB HIGH. Hesitancy .among buyers was evident today in bidding for various company shares which are liable to be adversely affected by the demands under the new war loan issue and values were shaded in consequence. Dominion Breweries had a range between £1 10/ and £1 10/6 after their second transfer at £1 10/3. There was a slight reduction in offers for Auckland Gail and Woolworths shares. Government stocks were particularly strong, with buyers up to £101 for the 1953-57 3% per cent. Business was dull during the morning and only two transactions were put through at noon.
