The first meetingv of the new seaeoa's executive of the Auckland Cricket Association decided last night , to commence the two senior competitions on October Iβ. Thie ie a week earlier than last Bummer.

Entries close on October 14, and for all other grades on October 28.

The system in vogue in tlhe past—twoday matches down to intermediates, and one-d iy for third and fourth grade playe. —will be adhered to at the outset. Mr. W. R. Fee, chairman, expressed the opinion that play should continue as under normal conditions. Snedden, Hay; Orosvenor Cup, three to be nominated by Umpires' Association; grounds committee, Messrs. Snedden, Nalder, E. J. Price. Mr. C. S. Thompson was appointed resident delegate to the New Zealand Cricket Council, Chriitchureh.
