10 BRITONS CHARGED. Japanese Examining Further Suspects. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Reed. 2 p.m.) LONDON", Sept. 30. A Tokyo message says that the 10 Britons under arrest since September 27 have been indicted on charges of violation of the military secrets protection law and the naval criminal codes of the military resources projection law, while several others are being • examined.

One Japanese was indicted and 50 others warned on account of pro-British activities.

The Britons charged include Captain Charles H. James, R.N. (retired), chief representative of the Federation of British Industries, Tokyo, Messrs. George A. James, Ernest W. James, Michael Ringer, Shimonoseki Hamish McNaughton, honorary consul for Greece in Osaka, Henry Blyth, John Drummond, William T. Charles and T. B. Willey.
