THE LEMON MARKET.
(To the Editor.)
Mr. Tozer is right. What we should do is to bring producer and consumer «c close together a* possible, but what the Government is doing » to widen the gap and put an arniv of highlv-paid, Government inspectors and officials between producer and consumer. This is their way of solving unemployment. The idea U regimentation and licensing of everything. Destroy private enter, prise, and take away all incentive to progress, and you have Socialism, which ha* failed wherever it has been tried. But, Mr. Tozer, you can no more convince a Socialist' that he » wrong fh« H you can convince a Hitlerite that German National Socialism is wrong. E. STEVEXSOX.
