DE GAULLE'S FLAG.
BANNER OF ST. JOAN. A correspondent has a*ked for a description of the i\a<i of Free France, (jeneral de Gaulle, leader of the Free French forces, ha* adopted the Red Cross of Lorraine, the llajr of St. .Joan of Arc in her fifjhfc to free France five centuries ajro, as the emblem of his forces, in addition to the French national flag.
Vice-Admiral Muselier, commanding the Free French Xavy and the Free French Air Force, has ordered his warships to fly the national flag—the Tricolour —at the stern and * the Cross of Lorraine at the bows. The cross is red on a blue background, and the design is here reproduced.
