VALUES OPEN FIRMLY. COLONIAL SUGARS STRONG. Quotations opened firmly on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day, but business was quiet, with holders generally high. Offers were raised for New Zealand Drug rights to £1 5/10, sellers asking £1 7/. Only three sales, all reported, were put through at noon, when the chief feature was an advance in buyers to £50 for Colonial Sugars, after sellers had quoted £51.
