RETARDATE CHILDREN.
HAMILTON, Friday. Two rooms in the old Hamilton West School will be made temporarily available for the use of retardate children, according to a decision made at last night's meeting of the Hamilton Technical High School board of managers. The decision was made at the request of the Auckland Education Board. The education board asked for two rooms when the technical college took ove-r control of the school. The chairman. Mr. C. Nisbet, said that the proposal to have younger children in the same school as the secondary pupils was not satisfactory, but it was difficult to see what other arrangements could be made in view of the congestion in other primary schools.
