Will Never Send American Boy
To Fight Overseas.
OPENS ELECTION CAMPAIGN.
(Reed. 2 p.m.) CHICAGO, Sept. 13. The Republican nominee for the United States Presidency, Mr. Wendell L. Willkic, beginning a nation-wide campaign, reiterated his promise to keep America out of the war. "If you elect me," he said, "L shall never send an American boy Ho light overseas. I want to make America free and so strong that no dictator will ew «Uikc here."
