AIR FORCE TRAINEE,

MOTOR-CYCLE SMASH. CXIRISXCHUKCII, this (lay. A member of the Royal Nov Zealand Air Force at Wigram, Maurice Ingram Low, Has killed instantly shortly after midnight, when the motor cycle he was riding came into a head-on collision with a car at tho corner of the main Month Road. Mr. Low, whose father lives in the city, wan riding back to Wigram when the accident occurred. The driver of the car was Mr. Eric Hcmmingway, of 81, Awa Road, Wellington. Ho suffered only slight head and leg injuries and was treated as an oqt-paticnt at the hospital.— (Press Assn.)
