Here Are Some Handy Hints
e e (By Valerie Kerr, 2, Clarence-Btreet. Grey Lynn.) 3 Most of us wear sandshoes in sumi mer, and these need laves. Xexfc time y your laces wear out, instead of buying r ordinary white ones buy half a yard of r coloured braid and use this. If you are e wearing a blue dress use blue laces; if s a yellow dress, yellow laces, and so on. r It looks so gay, too. r Here is just the thing for a boy who p loves to play "cowboys and Indians." 11 Take a strip of scrim about ISin long
and 4in or oin wide. Cut a piece of very stiff brown paper the same size. Place the two together and fold over lengthwise. Pierce holes down the side with scissors. Put string through the holes to resemble stitches and knot at the ends. Attach a tape to the sides at the mouth of the quiver to form a shoulder strap and decorate the quiver with designs in brightly-coloured paint to give it a real Indian effect.
