AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.
The spring meeting of the Auckland Racing Club will be held at Eilershe on Saturday and Monday. October 12 and 14. when an attractive programme will be presented, the chief event being the Mitchelson Cup of £1050, including a gold cup value £50, one mile and a half. On the second day the Spring Handicap, one mile and a quarter, is the principal race. Nominations for all handicap events and forfeits for the Great Northern Guineas and the Welcome stakes are due with the secretary, Mr. W. S. Spence. at 5 p.m. next Friday. Full particulars are advertised in this issue.
