On the following Thursday afternoon witness found the following note in his handwriting:— "29/S/40. 2 p.m. —Happy nom\ IT! bo the best off now. I hare been led astray by others. Cheerio. Bury me with mum. —Eddie. My bank book is at Roy's, Money in Australia and England also. Hope everyone is pleased now. Thev can have the lot. v Witness »aid that after finding the note he searched under the house and found the bodv.
