SOU) WITHOUT T-TfiCTfR Three charges of selling properties when not holding a land agent's license were admitted by Edwin Saves in the Police Court to-day, before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M. Senior-Sergeant Joyce said that on March 31 the defendant started a business known as the Reliance Business •Sales, for which he did not require a license. Later he sold two houses and another pro|»erty which required him to have a land agent's license. . r - Tong, counsel for defendant, said it was only dilatorine.se on defendant's part that he did not apply for a license. \\ hen the matter was brought under his notice he had applied and immediately been granted one. The magistrate said the important point was that defendant had accepted deposits without being covered by ths bond which a license holder would have pro\ ided. On one charge he would be lined £20. The two other charges were withdrawn.
