MOTORIST FINED.

HAMILTON, Wednesday. "I am satisfied from the evidence that you were responsible for some very dangerous driving," said Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., when John Ambros Heskett, company manager, of Huntly, was charged in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court to-day with moving into a line of traffic when not clear of the vehicle he was passing.

Inspector D. Morrow said that defendant ran his car close alongside the other vehicle and then cut across, forcing the car he was passing off the road. The defendant, who pleaded not guiltv, was fined £2.
