MARKET VERY QUIET. VALUES REMAIN LEVEL. The market was very quiet at the morning call of the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day, no quotable ealee being reported. Values were much the same as yesterday afternoon, though an advance was seen in .Now Zealand Insurances, where buyers wore willing to give £3. A seller came forward at £3 ]/6. Quotations in the gilt-edged section snowed n further rise, which is in accordanco With a trend noticeable for some days. The Noon Call. Values were a little firmer at the noon call and the tone was brighter, business being considerably increased. In all, eight ealcs were recorded. New Zealand insurances confirmed their advance this morning by a sale at £3 0/6, an advance of 3d. Banks of New Zealand were also 3d higher at £2 2/6.
