BOXING TITLES.
Despite the absence' of a number of prominent local amateurs on military service, the AucklanU Boxing Association's annual championships 'on Monday and Tuesday proimse to be well ui> to previous standards. Added interest is' rent this year by the addition of a junior section for lads who nave performed regularly in suburban tourneys, but are not yet experienced enough for senior ranks. Special trophies will be donated in each division. Special interest will be taken in the showing of such wellperformett amateurs as C. Worth, J. Kin?, J. Jenkin. in the lighter freights, and E. Underwood. R. Branch. R. Nixon and D. Rcllinson, in the heavier classes.
