Approval of a eite for a new manual and technical school building wae given ■*», meeting of the Whanuarei Hi«h school Board of Governors. The building, which is to be ejected bv the Auckland Education Hoard, will" provide a centre for manual and technical instruction for pupils of all Whangarci and district schools.
The High School Board ha? made available a section of its land adjoininthe fct. John Ambulance Hall. The board chairman, Mr. H. C. Riehworth, said that Uie structure would be a very fine one.
