Alicante Oil Sabotage Aftermath. j CASE IS STILL SUBJUDICE. British Official Wireless. (Reed. 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 19. The following is the text of a letter from the Spanish Foreign Minister, Colonel Juan Atienza, to the British Ambassador, Sir Samuel Hoare, at Madrid, dissociating the Spanish Government from a view on Anglo-Spanish relations which was expressed in a recent article in the Falangist newspaper "Ariba":— "My dear Ambassador and friend, with reference to the subject of our recent conversation regarding an article which appeared in the periodical 'Ariba' on August 13, and with reference to the representation made 'to me by your Excellency arid your Excellency's Government, I am now in a position to state the following points: • "First, the Spanish Government neither has accused, nor does accuse, His Majesty's Government of participation in, or knowledge of, the attempt made against Campsa oil deposits at Alicante which' caused the death of one victim: further, the Spanish Government cannot, as your Excellency will agree is logical, pronounce on facts or the authority of the said attempt until the trial takes place. This will be held publicly as soon as/the judicial .authorities complete their case."
