SUCCESSFUL YEAR.
SECRETARIES* INSTITUTE. The annual meeting of the Auckland Chapter of the New Zealand Institute of Secretaries was presided over by Mr. A. Stafford. The annual report showed that the year had been a very successful one ana special reference was made to the excellent position regarding new candii, ~J or the . tnstitute's examinations. In alj, 198 examinees had sat during the vear, the Auckland district supplying 90 candidates. Officers were elected for the ensuing year as follow:—Patron. Mr. T. U. Wellscommittee, Messrs. A.
