MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Hon. D. G. Sullivan. Minister I>t Railways, inspected the Railway Battalion at Xgaruawahia camp yesterday and left later to inspect saw mills in the Rotorua district. The Minister, who iaccompanied by Mr. K. Casey, general manager of railways, intend* to visit Chateau Tonganro before letnruing to Wellington. I The Hon. \V. I.oe Martin. Minister <>f J Agriculture, yesterday met .1 deputation 'of citrus grower- at Tauronga and inspected several orchards to discuss j various problems on the ground. Later he inspected the 13 acres at Mount i Maungauui which has been offered as « •gift by Mr. E. C. Banks as a hospital for returned soldiers, and was also shown the effect of sea erosion which is «iusing some concern at Pilot B.:y The Minister of National Service and Manpower, the Hon. R. Semple, will commence a tour of the main centres in the | course of the next few days. His object i is to discuss with local bodies the Home Guard scheme and to arrange for the ?etting up of committees. It, is anticipated that members will be enrolled in the Home Guard as from next month. '
