WEATHER FORECAST.
Th« Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon tho following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate southerly to westerly winds. A few isolated local showers, especially in the north, but weather otherwise fair to fine. Moder ate temperatures. Seas slight to moderate. An anti-cyclone extends from Australia on to northern New Zealand, and a hallow depressions are passing in the south. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. Th* following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, calm; sea, smooth; weather, good; visibility, good; barometer, rieing.
