PAPAKURA SCHOOL.
A satisfactory credit balance was disclosed at the annual meeting of the Papakura Parents' Association after contribut-! ing £30 to the cost of constructing the school swimming bath and £12 towards providing a projector for visual education. Officers elected were:—Patron, the Mayor, Mr. S. Evans; president, Mr, G. H. Davis; vice-president, Mr. C. Ailing-ton; treasurer, Mr. G. Wilk'"son; secretary, Mrs. W. -Rankin.
