PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. The commodore. Mr. \V. A. Wilkinson, welcomed the quests, including the patron. Sir Ernest Davis, who was "accompanied liy the Hon. Walter Xneh, Minister of Finance. All local yacht clubs were represented by their tins officers, also the Wlianjrarei Cruisinsr Club and the Tnurangn, Hniniltnn and O|>otiki Yacht Clubs. Mr. Wilkinson said that "Hi club members had joined the colours, some being already ovvrseus.

The Hon. Walter Nash, congratulated Hie club on the fine array of trophies and said he felt sure it was doing good work by encouraging the younger generation to learn seamanship. They were all proud of the New Zealanders on the Achilles and the part they had played in their first real .fight.
