(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 12. Silver quotations, compared with previous rates, are:—Standard. 23ted (23% d) an ounce; fine, 25% d (25% d). Quotations for tin, compared with previous rates, are:—Spot: Buyers, £264 (£265); sellers, £264 5/ (£265 10/). Forward: Buyers, £264 10/ (£265 5/); sellers, £265 (£265 10/). The New York price for tin to-day is 51.75 cents a lb.
