WET CANTEENS.

A well-attended meeting of the congregation of the Pitt Street Methodist Church unanimously passed a resolution urging tlie Government not to establish wet canteens in Territorial camps. Copies of the resolution were forwarded to the Prime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, and the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry. It was pointed out that many of the men concerned would be under 21 years of age and the establishment of wet canteens would cause great concern to manv parents.
