PRESENTATIONS MADE.

In various parts of the province special) gatherings have been held during the past few days in honour of soldiers returning to camp. In the Mount Wellington district, 200 residents attended a ceremony at the Panmure Sunday School Hall, and soldiers present were presented by Mr. C. H. Petrie, M.P., with wallets. A ceremony at Te Aroha was largely attended. Sixty men of the Third Echelon were the guests, and the Mayor, Mr. R. Coulter, presented each of them with a money-belt, and a sum of money. Titirangi soldiers were given a send-off at a well attended gathering, over which Mr. W. A. Bishop, presided. Each soldier received a money-belt and wallet.
