PUBLICATION LATER.

LORD GOBY'S DISPATCHES. British Official Wlrdesa. (Received 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, August 6. The publication at some later date of General the Viscount Gort's dispatches on the operation of the British Expeditionary Force in France and Belgium is under consideration, but Mr. Eden. Secretary for War, told the House of Commons to-day it would not be in the public inter££t to issue them at present. He added that the publication of an abbreviated description of the whole campaign, which would put in perspective the piecemeal stories already in circulation had been considered also, but "difficulties at this time are rather exceptional, especially in relation to what happened in France and events in regard to the French nation itself."
