BURNED TO DEATH.
FARM CARETAKER. CHARRED BODY IN WHARE. COROMANDEt TRAGEDY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. The charred remains of Mr. Fredric Ernest Bridle, a married man, aged 66, were discovered in the ruine of a burned whare at Colville Bay, Coromandel Peninsula, yesterday by a friend tvho went to visit him. The bodies of two ccg& were also found in the ruins. It is believed that Mr. Bridle, who was subject to epileptic fits, had an attack on Saturday night, knocking the table lamp over and starting a conflagration. Mr. Bridle lived alone, being caretaker for the farm of Mr. A. Douglas. At the inquest before Mr. George Darling, Coromandel district coroner, a verdict of death by misadventure wae returned.
