DE GAULLE'S THREAT.
"Settle With Men Of Vichy After Victory." COURT'S DEATH SENTENCE. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 2. A message from Clermont Ferrand (France) says that a military court condemned General de Gaulle, French leader in London, to death and military degradation for treason, attacks against the State and desertion to a foreign country.
General de Gaulle said: "I consider the death sentence by the men; of Vichy ae entirely void. I shall settle accounts with them after the victory. "The sentence is that of a court largely under the influence of, and possibly under direct orders from, the enemy who will one day be driven from the soil of France. Then I shall submit myself willingly to the people's judgment."
