WET CANTEENS OPPOSED.
At the monthly meeting of the Auckland Ministers' Association a resolution was passed, on the motion of the Rev. F. Copeland, protesting against the proposal to introduce wet canteens in territorial camps. It was felt that such a step would not be in the best interests of the young men who attend the camps. An interesting account of his work in Manchuria was given by the Rev. Dr. W. Miskelly, a missionary of the Irish Presbyterian Church. I
