SUPPORT FOR FIXTURE.

TE AROHA, Tuesday
There was a fair attendance at the annual meeting of the Thames Valley A. and I'. Association held at Tc Aroha. Mr. V. G. Hamilton, the president, said that a profit of £7 0/10 was revealed, and cash at the bank amounted to £108 2/6. The advisability of holding a show this year was discussed at length, and finally the secretary was instructed to inquire as to what support would be forthcoming from outside breeders, and to circularise all members to attend a further meeting to express their views so that a decision could be arrived at. The main officers elected were as follows: —Patrons, Messrs. J. Thorn, M.P., J. Allen, M.P., W. S. Goosman, M.P., R. Coulter, W. T. Dale, R. L. Somers, F. M. Strange and J. A. Clothier; president, Mr. V. G. Hamilton; advisory committee, Messrs. W. A. Clark, W. T. Dale, D. McXab, F. M. Strange, V. G. Hamilton, H. L. Thornton, H. V. Middlein jVs and M. H. Hume; shed steward, Mr. W. F. Bliss; hon. solicitors, Messrs. | Gilchrist, Sons and Burns; secretary- | treasurer (interim), Mr. W. Leitch; j auditors, Messrs. Bindon, Champion and Leitch.
