APPEAL UPHELD.
CASE OF H. RITCHIE. The appeal of M. Ritchie, who was disqualified for three months by the judicial committee of the Matamata Racing Club in connection with his riding of Makol in the Corbett Steeplechase last Saturday week, was upheld by the Auckland district committee yesterday and his deposit was ordered to be refunded.

Australian Hurdles of a 1500, three miles, to be run at Flemington on Saturday:—Cheery Jack, 12.6; Dark David, 10.10; North Cape, 10.3 ; Mumilliue, 10.2; Cape Kace, 0.11 ; Paul Lois, 9.6 ; Kevastar, 9.4 ; King's Warden, 9.2 ; Bozzago, Vulcan, •J.l. Vulc-an is reported to be still in Sydney. D. McCdrmick trains Dark David, Mainillius and Kevastar.
