AUCKLAND WOOL FIXTURES. Appraisements of crutchinge of oddments will be held nt the varioue centres during August. jiccording to advice received from tuj Auckland Woolbrokers' Association to-day. The Auckland datu" are Tuesday and Wednesday, the 13*.h and 14th. These appraisements give growers an opportunity of disposing not duly t>i their eriitehings, but of any oddmciite which were shorn too late to catch tne final appraisement of the past 'eeasoj hc;d last April. All wool intended for this appraisement should reach brokers' stores within the next week, eo that sufficient time will be available to prepare it for display. In view of the demands on shipping space resulting from present war cot.ditione growers should asiet the Government by packing their wool in weight? which will prove most economical of epaou when dumped. Bales weighing between 35010 and 4001b are recommended as most suitable. Growers will also assist the Government by sending all available wool in for this appraisement, eince shipping space ia likely to become more congested an the seaeon progresses.
